Every action we take has an effect on the environment around us, so we are constantly looking for ways to collaborate with suppliers, employees and residents to collectively reduce emissions. We also understand that sustainability is about more than just carbon footprint, and we will always go out of our way to make a positive contribution to our communities.

Every step counts –
these are the steps we take

At Cityus, we guarantee that every single one of our apartments is free from single-use plastics. We ensure that our cleaning partners use only sustainable products and that our furniture suppliers have credibly sustainable manufacturing and recycling policies.

 

We actively encourage all our employees to adopt sustainable work practices and we gift everyone with a paid day’s leave which they can use for a cause they value.

 

We provide residents with up to date information around recycling and other eco-friendly best practices. And, of course, we also control energy consumption when the apartments are vacant.

 

We are in the process of analysing our greenhouse gas emissions based on our last 2 years activities, and are putting in place a road map with yearly reduction targets.

Community is key

We like to get involved with the communities we live and work in so we offer internships to students from local schools. In addition, we provide long-term sponsorship for other projects that will benefit communities that are further afield. For the past 3 years, for example, Cityus has supported Nouvelle Planète, subsidising projects that include building wells in Burkina Faso villages and providing beehives for agriculture in Senegal.

We’ve earned top scores from ISAAP as a serviced apartment provider in the last few years. This rigorous assessment covers quality and comfort, and assures consumers and corporate buyers that overall standards of health, safety and security are achieved.
